Hi, and thanks for dropping in.

Bazooka Joe is a four piece rock/pop covers band based in and around Cleveland and North Yorkshire. 

The band is (L to R): Graham Hope (Drums & occasional squeeks and Yells. Steve Jones (Guitar and occasional vocals). Mick Langburne (Vocals, percussion, gob iron), Wayne Richardson (Bass, hats, bad jokes), .

We play an eclectic set in a rocky/poppy/bluesey sort of style. There's usually something for everyone in there from old rockers like Free and Paul Rodgers through to T-Rex (honest) and ZZ Top, and on up to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow Patrol, Blur and even one by HIM.

There is a very healthy live music scene up here in the North East and we can be found most weekends in a pub or private party or, in summer, at whatever local festival or fete we can wheedle in on.

No gig is too small (or too big), but we draw the line at Working Mens' Clubs. Nothing against them of course, we just don't like bingo.
